Physical Therapist

Kari was born and raised in Spokane Washington where she graduated from Shadle Park High School. Following high school, Kari attended University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington where she played collegiate volleyball and also received her Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy.
She returned to Spokane after college where she began her career and raised her family. In the early years of her physical therapy career she worked at various institutions including St. Lukes Rehab, School District 81, and Group Health. She then decided out-patient/sports rehab was where she felt her passion. For the past 17 years she has worked in the outpatient setting providing therapy to athletes, surgical patients and various diseases and pathologies.
Kari feels very comfortable treating patient of any age. She has treated multiple surgical patients, orthopedic injuries, elderly with balance and fall risk, TMJ issues, vertigo, and patients in need of orthotics and sports rehab. She continues to progress in the area of physical therapy as it has been very exciting to her to see all of the changes and progression of where her profession has gone.
Outside of the clinic Kari enjoys spending time with her husband and their 14 month old grandbaby. She attends and supports WSU football, Gonzaga Basketball and soccer (both men and women) as she had a daughter who played soccer and graduated from Gonzaga University. She looks forward to more golfing, hiking and biking now that she has become an Empty-Nester.
