Matt graduated with honors with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Regis University in Denver, Colorado in May of 2017. During his program, he completed a clinical rotation under Zach Strandy’s mentorship at the North Spokane office and enjoyed it so much that he decided to return to the Summit team. Prior to Physical Therapy School, he attended the University of Wyoming on a full-ride academic scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology and Health Promotion in May of 2013.

Matt seeks to positively affect his patient’s experience of life by treating their musculoskeletal injuries, improving their movement patterns, and helping them achieve their goals. He enjoys treating various musculoskeletal disorders, particularly low back, shoulder, and lower extremity dysfunctions. Matt combines his extensive manual therapy skills with therapeutic exercises in order to effectively get patients back to living life symptom-free.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time in the great outdoors hiking, camping, biking, snowboarding, rock climbing, etc. He is also involved in local ministries and is dedicated to serving the community of Spokane.
