Melissa began her PTA career working in an inpatient rehabilitation setting with various diagnoses from neurological pathologies, cardiac recovery, amputations and traumatic fractures. Her experience has provided her with valuable skills in neurological re-education, treatment of acute surgical joints and complex patients. Since starting at Summit in September of 2014, Melissa has expanded her knowledge in women’s health treatment to include oncological and pelvic floor health.

Personal Interests

As a mom, Melissa is finding joy in spending time with her family. Together they enjoy a weekly running club, soccer date nights, traveling and constant laughs. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest provided Melissa the perfect environment for snow skiing, water sports, gardening and soccer, which continue to keep her busy in her free time.
